12.5 Use of Local BRDF Models

Any of the SCATMECH models which inherit the class Local_BRDF_Model (such as Bobbert_Vlieger_BRDF_Model or Rayleigh_Defect_BRDF_Model) internally calculate the differential scattering cross-section (DSC) before converting it to BRDF. The class Local_BRDF_Model uses the parameter density to convert the DSC to BRDF.
